I am not of pure blood. I am not a fish, my mother was a changeling dragon and many dragons have scales as I do. She was of pure blood, but my father was a water nymph. My siblings and I have no true clan of which we belong.

[She doesn't bother to explain past that. Someone being confused over exactly what she was she was use to. Not knowing or seeing a dragon and nymph before is not something she's as use to.]
