Some shirts do, some don't. As a lot of people like to hide their wings under their shirts. [As Vash is currently doing, but there's still a clear bulge under his shirt where his own set are wings are hiding.]

But I've gotten pretty good at putting holes in shirts if I can't find a shirt with holes in it yet. [He waits for Knives to pick up all his new collection of treasures before he gets ready to head back up the beach.]
